The first review is a video, and when the person in the video had the piece against his hand for scale, Mom said it looked smaller than the picture led her to believe. As we read the reviews, one reviewer did confirm that it was pretty small at around 3/4 human size.
It mostly has good reviews, with one 3star review, and one 1 star review, for an average of 4.5 stars. The three star review was disappointed with the size, and the 1 star review was also disappointed with the size, but so much so that in spite of it being her only complaint, she only gave it 1 star.
The 1 star reviewer said not to expect to use it in your yard, which is our plan. However, other reviewers state that they did put it in their yard and loved, so Mom said this is going in the 'maybe' pile for now, and we'll decided after we do our shopping here in town.
I asked mom what it was and she said she really didn't know either, but it reminded her of Pirates of the Caribbean. Mom loves pirates as much as she loves Halloween.
Mom said that years ago, before my brother or me was ever born, she built a haunted pirate ship decoration, but she wasn't sure she could remember how to do it even if she had the time, which she doesn't. So she searched Amazon and found this Animated Airblown Skeleton Pirate Shipwreck. Mom is not a big fan of inflatable decorations, and she likes scary, not kiddy... but we love this and were going to try to talk her into it. Luckily for us, we have Dad on our side on this one. It's rare, but it does happen.
It only has one review, and it's a 1 star review. According to the reviewer, it's poorly made, and that he or she couldn't keep it inflated. Mom said it may have had a leak, and that sometimes those things happen. The reviewer didn't say if he or she even checked for a leak first and the repair kits for leaks are cheapy and simple, so Mom said she wouldn't let that bother her. But she still is not a fan of inflatables, so we'll have to see if we'll get this.
